Much of the shoot was carried out as studio food photography, where we built a rustic country kitchen set in collaboration with Eleanor Harpur. Working alongside Johan Van Merve, we even created a food-based version of the iconic Kerrygold “K”, blending creativity with technical food styling. Studio lighting and careful composition allowed us to emphasise texture, richness and authenticity in every image.
As a food photographer in Ireland, I enjoy projects that combine storytelling with strong brand identity. This Kerrygold commission is a great example of how commercial food photography can elevate a product range — whether through still life, styled table scenes or creative brand visuals. My goal is always to deliver images that feel authentic, appetising and memorable, helping Irish food brands shine both locally and around the world.
